4. يَوۡمَ يَكُونُ ٱلنَّاسُ كَٱلۡفَرَاشِ ٱلۡمَبۡثُوثِ
(Yawma yakoonun-naasu kaalfarashil-mabthoot)
It is a Day when people will be like scattered moths
5. وَتَكُونُ ٱلۡجِبَالُ كَٱلۡعِهۡنِ ٱلۡمَنفُوشِ
(Wa-takoona-l-jibaalu kal-‘ihi-nil-manfush)
And the mountains will be like wool
6. فَأَمَّا مَن ثَقُلَتۡ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ
(Fa-am-maa man thaqulat ma-wazeenuh)
Then, as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds]
7. فَهُوَ فِي عِيشَةٖ رَّاضِيَةٖ
(Fa-huwa fi ‘isha-tir-raadhiyah)
He will be in a pleasant life
8. وَأَمَّا مَنۡ خَفَّتۡ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ
(Wa-am-maa man khaffat ma-wazeenuh)
But as for one whose scales are light
9. فَأُمُّهُۥ هَاوِيَةٞ
(Fa-ummuhu haawiya)
His refuge will be an abyss
10. وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا هِيَهۡ
(Wa-maa adraaka ma-hiya)
And what can make you know what that is?
11. نَارٌ حَامِيَةُۢ
(Naarun-haamiyah)
